Dr. Julie Wilkes is a global leader in organizational psychology, employee experience, and well-being strategy, with over 27 years of experience at Accenture. She is widely recognized for pioneering the first enterprise-wide well-being roles in 2005—an idea she conceptualized, pitched, and successfully secured through ROI-driven, data-backed business cases.

Julie went on to design and lead holistic well-being strategies for more than 75,000 employees, overseeing programs, incentives, benefits, metrics, and experiences that redefined how organizations support their people. Her work focused on building a fully integrated ecosystem that empowered employees to personalize their well-being, access meaningful resources, and align their work with their personal needs. This included introducing flexible work practices, mental health support, volunteerism, and incentives tied to health improvement, biometrics, and proactive medical engagement.

In 2013, Julie helped scale these concepts globally, contributing to initiatives that reached over 750,000 employees and their families across more than 140 countries. She partnered with cross-functional global teams to deliver curated, culturally relevant well-being programs, including onsite experiences, digital tools, coaching, and accountability systems. She also trained and developed more than 100 global well-being leaders.

A motivational speaker for more than 25 years, Julie has delivered keynote presentations around the world—from the Tower of London to NFL arenas, MLB stadiums, the White House, Google, two TedX Talks, and hundreds of global conferences. Her speaking focuses on resilience, burnout, stress, mental health, and the future of the workplace, blending science, storytelling, and practical application. She is passionate about creating immersive, meaningful experiences that help people understand that well-being is a daily choice—and that it can be fun, engaging, unique, connective, and truly life-changing.

Julie has also been at the forefront of mental health innovation, collaborating with institutions such as Stanford University to translate emerging research on stress and resilience into scalable programs. She has developed initiatives focused on burnout prevention, high-performance stress management, and comprehensive suicide prevention protocols—including training, early identification systems, and coordinated care pathways to support at-risk individuals.

In addition, Julie created a transformative coaching program for incarcerated individuals, guiding participants through a 10-week journey that integrates yoga, coaching, journaling, reading, and small group discussion to help them build a new pathway forward. She also works closely with leaders in corrections, equipping them with tools to manage stress and prevent burnout in one of the most demanding professional environments.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, a Master’s in Human Performance, and a PhD in Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Wilkes is known for bridging science, strategy, and human-centered design to create environments where people—and businesses—can truly thrive.
